Bryn Mawr College president, Jane McAuliffe, announced that she will be stepping down on June 30th. McAuliffe has led the college since 2008 and is grateful for having the opportunity to have done so.
The board will appoint a new president for the upcoming academic year, while the college performs a national search for one.
There hasn’t been an announcement as to why McAiliffe chose to step down, but in a press release she explained that she plans to recharge and finish a book.
Arcadia University terminated their president, Carl “Tobey” Oxholm III, last week.
