YouTube has over 400,000 educational videos on it, but schools choose to block the site so kids won’t have access to unsavory videos. Now YouTube for Schools will put the videos in the teacher’s hands that can use them to capture students with shot attention spans. Watching videos can sometimes make learning easier on students rather than always writing things on the blackboard for them to read. Though teachers will have access to YouTube for Schools, the rest of the site will still be blocked. This can make a school day for a child easier and more enjoyable adding different teaching techniques to the curriculum.
